Admit it: Turkeys are Beautiful! This is a close up portrait of a wild Merriams Turkey. Note the patterns of colors, the shapes and lines that make this bird a work of art. The detail here is phenomenal. In fact, look carefully slightly to the upper right of the head, where it appears to be a speck of dust. This is actually one of the turkey's 'hair-like' feathers.
