Description
The weather was kind of iffy one late summer afternoon, Rain showers were intermittent, but the lighting was very interesting. We had been camping along the south rim of the Grand Canyon for a bit over two weeks, so we were getting antsy to move onward. A well-know photographer from a nearby town stopped to chat a bit while it seemed that nothing much was to happen before sunset. Yet to our shock and wonder as we were talking, this amazing rainbow 'materialized' into the moist atmosphere over the Canyon. Our perseverance paid off. It was one of those incredible experiences.
