Description
As I was positioned on the cliffs of beautiful the Big Sur coast of California, I saw this condor use the afternoon thermals in order to glide upward and upward in big sweeping circles away from the shoreline where it had been feeding. Saving the California condor is one of our most worthwhile conservation efforts ever. Thanks to great, dedicated individuals, we are so blessed to still have this- what could have been so easily lost forever.
Some say this bird is ugly. I say, "Nope, it is beautiful!" Please see this magnificent bird in the wild at least ONCE in your life time!
